Workaround - create blank files on the removable drive named ".Trash-1000", ".Trash-1001", and so on as needed. Since it cant create a folder because a file already exists with the same name, it asks if it can permanently delete. At least this worked for me with a FAT32 SD card. Kind of awkward

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xsane Scanned a pic. Noticed it had vertical lines in it. Tried scanning at a lower resolution - still had the lines. (first pic was at 1200 second was at 600) Tried it on an older version. It was fine. Version with lines is 0.996 in jaunty 64bit.
