!! bug caused wrong file to upload .. ignore the .kmz file (I'd delete

So, I tried to upload again from a folder that contained only that one
file and Firefox crashed. I guess that's bound to it's using Nautilus in
some way.

Can you/could you see other players in multiplayer and the pickup items,
like weapons?
I had the same problem, not seeing other players/bots and items, the map
was fine on first glance but then turning quickly shows the graphics are
sluggish with line refreshing becoming obvious.

I've not seen that but the right click is context sensitive and 'Send link' is
similar to what you're describing? - though that typically seems to put the
link in the body, Thunderbird might then use the first line as title??

Creating a new user didn't change it.
The new user had still StumbleUpon, NoScript and Ubuntu Mod enabled by default.
I disabled each in turn and the problem remained.. even without all of them.

Looking at Tools::Add-ons::Plugins suggests Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124 among

I should maybe have also suggested that I can't get to a command line
with the new kernel as it's stalling partway through the initial

I've no reason to think it is.. I've only seen it with Firefox recently past
few weeks. It's been a very stable system for the two years I've had it.
I think it's something specific to the coding on the pages I go to that trips
it. I've visited other sites and had no problems.

I've just found that the frozen state is retained if you reboot and on
Firefox open "Restore Session" rather than starting new one, it jumps
back into the frozen state as if reboot never happened. Might help
running tests on what that retained state is??
