Hope this doesn't break anything. So far it worked, though I haven't tried a
positive value with this hack.

via synaptic remove plasma-widget-networkmanagement and network-manager
my unsecured wireless reconnects with it's previously working wlan.

I apologize, my install has been overwritten. I had to do a reinstall
via Kubuntu 9,10 with upgrade via synaptic, and ubuntu studio wiki.
I'm sorry about that, I don't remember the details. But thank you for
