I can reproduce the bug on a fresh install of Kubuntu Jaunty (latest, all updates). Happens nearly always when I have a VmWare virtual machine running and perform some action in it, but not if it's running in the background, i.e. no focus and no mouse action in it. Running VmWare Server 2.0.0 B
