I also have this problem in Hardy Heron! Alpha 4
After a clean-install, it didn't work! - I tried installing
python2.5-dev - that didn't get it running either!

I can only confirm this manner...
Maybe the host (Windows machine) doesn't accept anonymous logins, but
choosing "guest login" in the beginning should definately do the same as
"visiting the anonymous page"

My hotheys work out-of-the-box in Ubuntu dapper, but not in Kubuntu
