I confirm this bug. Really annoying.
The solution should be as close to the hardware as possible, so no aplication
have ability to lock it.
For example , when I push volume up button in my laptop
- information of pressing the key is processen in very deep level, and volume
changes
- no aplicatio

while there is still a lot of space for much more bookmarks. value in

I have similar or same bug. Cdrom ejects i random time amounts, usually every
2-3 hours, even if its empty.
Ubuntu 9.04, default settings.

When connection is lost NM tryies to recconnect, sometimes it reconnects
without any problem, but sometimes for some reason it asks me for network key,
what is nonsense in my opinion because it has the key already in his key
database, and i only need to click OK to confirm that key is proper

To be more precise, OpenGL works in hardware mode for compiz (so window
effects work at full speed ) but in software mode for any aplication or
game like Nexuiz or GoogleEarth.
Now tested on Jaunty-alpha2 livecd as well, it behaves exactly same,

I updated the driver. Texture corruptions doesn't occur, BUT opengl works in
software mode wchich is _extremely_ slow
so new driver doesn't help at all.
Tested on Nexuiz and GoogleEarth

I Confirm. I have exactly same bug, same Intel video card.
Compiz enabled, when disable compiz everything works fine.
I updated today to Interpid oficial stable release, and this bug
appear. In Hardy it was working fine.

To reproduce this bug you need (i am not sure if all these things are
importand, but it does hung for me )
- turn off computer then load system
- system should have set up compiz with effects, window decorator switched to
emerald, and chosen some skin
- open any moovie,

Yes you need turn off your computer, and turn on and load system again.
Just reboot is not enough i guess.
Additional info. Laptop is not fully hung up. Sound of moovie is still
running. Keyboard doesn't respond. Mouse pointer works but is useless,
