kernel in Linux MINT 17.2 "Rafaela" ???
Will be available a 3.16-xxx that fix th bug??
In the meantime is better to don't do fstrim???

In my Linux Mint 17.1
if I do:
sudo smartctl -a /dev/sda | grep SATA\ Version
I receive:
SATA Version is: SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 6.0 Gb/s)
I don't understand if this means that I'M NOT affected to this Bug.
Can I do :
fstrim -v / >> $LOG
without risk??

Have I to upgrado to kernel 3.19 or will be available an official Kernel

I have Kubuntu 9.10 x64 on HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop with NVIDIA driver
v190.18. Did update several days ago (I do updates every other day).
After reboot I can see only black screen and cursor.
Actually, changing compositing to false in ~/.kde/share/config/kwinrc
helped.
Waiting for any upd
Upgraded to Kubuntu 9.10 (alpha 3) and issue gone.

I am not using KDE's network manager for now because it is broken
(cannot connect to WIFI) and using Gnome's nm-applet, may be that is the
reason.

Upgraded kernel to 2.6.28-13, but it did not help.
I was able to take screen shot of kernel panic, it was hanging for several
seconds and I switched to console and then it hung finally :)
I am switching wireless off at work and it never happened while it is off.
Any advice appreciated, thinking ab

Hi,
I am having the same issue. System hangs one/two times a day for a week
or so. Every time caps lock led was blinking after the hang except the
last one. I am attaching my messages log and it seems that it is related
to WIFI Adapter as last logs before hang were about that device.
