I changed:
load-module module-hal-detect
to
load-module module-hal-detect tsched=0
in /etc/pulse/default.pa
That fixed my audio my Core i7 can handle the extra CPU usage, I
can't work without audio.

issues!
I'm running a vanilla kernel with PREEMPT though...should this have
effected me?

me up to to pulseaudio 0.9.14-0ubuntu10 today.

APN for Vodafone Ireland (Contract) is isp.vodafone.ie.
This should be hs.vodafone.ie to enable use at HSDPA speed.
The hs.vodafone.ie is still usable at basic GPRS/EDGE/UMTS
speeds but is required for HSDPA speeds.
