I can confirm that it happens on my PC too - it does not happen upon
every boot but when it happens again I will post more detailed info -
this is with root and home on ext4.

Brasero does not detect the burner even with the newest 2.6.31-4-generic kernel

I have tried before on Intrepid and it is not working properly.
Two screens left on 15" @ 1024x768 and right one 1028x1024.
It use to work on Hardy.

Thanks for the response. Installing the driver from the NVIDIA website
is the only way I can get a acceptable screen resolution. For some
reason the nv driver does not work. About two weeks ago I posted the
problem on the Ubuntu forums but it seems that everybody is overlooking
it.

network-manager 0.7 installed Sebastien Bacher asked me to downgrade to
the hardy version 0.6.5. The behavior does not occur any more. The bug

I use the new network manager 0.7. It is connected but to be honest I
get the same behaviour with Firefox since yesterday. When I disable work
offline both works. The evolution problem happens since about two weeks
ago.
Maybe I should have filed a bug against network manager?

When I start firefox from the panel it always start in offline mode. I am
connected via wireless to a network
I found a workaround:
Open configuration editor and look for apps->
gnome-settings-daemon->screensaver and disable start-screensaver
apps-> gnome-settings-daemon->plugins->screensaver and disable active. Then
logged of and on and it seems to be normal.
