If it is any useful,`alsa force-reload` after boot recovers audio devices. Not
really a patch, however.

I've tried:
1. changing the alpha parameter inside the highlighting settings. Nothing
changed on the printed version (no highlighting).

It is not related with a particular file. It happens with previously
created files. An example:
1. *Open the attached file*.
2. *Change it* (for example open one of the glyphs,and add a triangle to
the letter "d", as I just did to verify)
3. Save it,* overwriting it, but using the "Save as..." dia
