I' m working UbuntuStudio 7.10 with QjackCtl, Qsynth (soundfont: FluidR
3GM.sf2) and Rosegarden (with Virtual Keyboard).
ALSA works well as expected without Xruns {0(0)} except the damned, false
apparently, repeated message from qsynth:

Ubuntu Studio 7.10 -> Rosegarden -> File -> Preview with LiliPond
produces on the screen a nice preview but prints a blank page and saves
a .ps file with only the header i.e.:
