I made a patch to fix this (it is attached to this).
It is not very clean but principe is to prevent trying to read or write
to stdin/stdout when the fake-tty mode is enabled.
To save cpu on the read thread i did same thing as under windows which make a
small sleep before returning that there is

I don't want to close firefox because i want it to be back when i
restart.
What i means is that the session manager from kde should close and correctly
restore applications when logging out.This is working well for other stuff
like skype for example but firefox seems to be closed wrongly which m
restore
last session as it thinks it has crashed last time.
