Is there any progress on this bug? If so, will there be an update for
the Ubuntu 10.4 LTS package?

* Inkscape 0.47 r22583, built Apr 4 2010
* Netbeans 6.8 (Build 200912041610)
* JDownloader 0.9.581.
For Netbeans, Inkscape behaves similar to what
I completely agree with Christiaan D in comment #117. The fix has been
released over a year ago. It should have been added to the distro by
now. Instead, the bug is still there in Lucid...
I confirm that it works perfectly when adding the "at_console"
privileges like described by Patrick Healy in

The file create-package.sh creates a .deb-file from the original ZIP
file from the website. It's certainly not the standard Ubuntu-way, but
it works .
I have a couple of questions to all of you who are interested in
GCALDaemon:
a) GCALDaemon isn't actively developed anymore. Given this fact, is
there any chance for it to get in the repos? If not, this 'bug' should
be closed, right?
b) The .deb-package of the initial post (cmp. link above) works

I'm having the exact same problem on Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha 3. My CLC/CC/SC
are on the same host (.39), one NC on a different one (.40). Are there
any known solutions or workarounds?
