Treviño's patched edgy version appears to be working. Running Xorg 7.2
for 12 hours now and memory usage is 75 Mb on a system with 2 GB RAM
(unpatched version was using 400-500 MB after 12 hours).

Installed Xorg 7.2 using the instructions in this post:

Xorg 7.1.1 normally uses no more than 100 MB on my system (2 GB RAM).
Memory usage for Xorg 7.2 jumped up to 500 MB within one day.
Downgraded to Xorg 7.1.1 a
