When opening the appearance properties window (to, say, change the
background) my icons are all reset to the default ubuntu-mono ones. This
should not happen.
To recreate the issue:
1. use dconf-editor or gnome-tweak-tool to change icon theme.
2. right-click on desktop, selec

I'm planned to test Oneiric on my dm1-3000. On the live CD, the clickpad
still wasn't working. I plan to install it later. Could someone confirm
that these patches do work in Oneiric alpha?

I'm getting this in onieric as well. For me at least, I can't do
anything other than force a reboot. This should have a higher priority,
IMO.

I, personally, prefer having my menus opaque, since it sets them apart
from my transparent panel. I think this should be set through the GTK
theme, not compiz. It should at least be optional.

It appears that netbook launcher is simply dividing the distance it
needs to scroll by a certain number of scroll wheel clicks; you need to
scroll the same amount to reach the bottom of the page. For some pages,
this makes it really slow. For others (like System) it means scrolling
is really fast,
This is currently a problem in 9.10. It shouldn't be marked as invalid.

If the word Package is reserved for .debs, why don't we call an archive
a "parcel" or something similar. Also, it would make more sense to call
.debs "Applications," as that is more specific than packages, and call
archives, which may or may not be applications "packages."

The word "Package" or "Box" would accurately describe the purpose of
Archives, to combine files and/or to compress them. It gives a more
intuitive name, which a new user could understand.
