I has this problem and I simply re-installed v4l driver and the v4l
control panel, and now my webcam is now working. :)

Had a desktop that I upgraded from Ubuntu 13.10, and there wasn't a
problem with steam; however, I did a fresh install on my HP dv6 7029wm,

subwoofer and headphone won't play nicely

Apon restart, the computer freezes after booting the bios. This problem
only accurs during restart, but not while the system is shut down and
restarted manually. The system was just upgraded from 12.04, and this
