I was having this problem with a DELL Inspiron 2650 (nvidia chipset).
The problem started when I enabled the proprietory nvidia driver, and
stopped when I disabled it.

I have had a reply on the ubuntu-users mailing list saying that the
program works with ubuntu dapper drake. I am using feisty, and I am
pretty sure that it stopped working after I upgraded from dapper,
although it is hard to be sure as I haven't used it for a while.

I've just booted up my old machine again. You were right in that one of
the non-root filesystems had a label of '/'. However, having fixed this
(it's now labelled as /media/hda4), the error still happens.
When I boot up now, it says (edited version typed in manually)

Thanks. I haven't been using that machine for some time (I bought a
laptop), so as far as I am concerned this bug is not a problem at the
moment. If I go back to using the other machine, I'll try installing the
latest ubuntu on it and then see if it's still a problem.

I just sussed out how to stop this: make sure listen is not running
(including in the system tray), then edit the config file
'~/.listen/config'
Look for a config entry called 'dynamic', then set its value to false. I
think this is equivalent to clicking the icon that looks like a CD below
the pla

This is only a feature request, not a bug. I'm just trying to set up
apache2 on my machine, and it occurred to me that it would be helpful if
the package included a simple example configuration file that people can
edit to configure their own site
