Oh well.. that may not work for people using aac files, but if all you
want to do is to tag any other format using ID3v2.3 from EasyTag that's
what necessary.

If you've installed EasyTag from Ubuntu Softwarecenter (not sure that's
what it's called in English, used to be Add/Remove app..) remove it.
When removed, open a terminal and type:
sudo aptitude install easytag
There you go.. no annoying easytag-aac installed.
The EasyTag you install from Ubu
Forgot to mention: if you follow what I just wrote, you should now be
able to select v2.3 tags from easytag.

It's not fixed. It just happened again today on freshly installed Ubuntu
9.10.
Two users were logged in, UserA and UserB.. UserA being the active one.
Mounted a CD while logged in as UserA, tried to unmount only to find out that
it was owned/mounted by UserB.

I managed to fix it by installing ArchLinux.. then installing Ubuntu over it..
the error did not show this time.
What I did and noticed when installing ArchLinux was that I could not mount
/home .. had to fsck.jfs it.. then it mounted. The same thing happened from
Ubuntu install CD live session
I can also confirmed that the same issue happens with: ubuntu-9.04-rc-
desktop-amd64.iso

I can also confirm this bug. It's bothered for 1.5-2 years.
If someone else is logged in and I mount a cd with porn and unmount it,
everyone on this system currently logged in will have a nice window
opened when they log in again with thumbnails of all the porn on the cd
I had mounted for a short
Another annoying side effect of this bug is when you want to blank a cd
you have to ask all the other users logged in to umount /cdrom so you
can blank it. sudo umount /cdrom works of course, but it's still silly.
I mounted it, not the other users.
