I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.1 with gnome-shell.
After the machine is inactive for sometime and the screen gets automatically
turned off and locked,
when I move the mouse or hit a key to wake it up most of the times the screen
turns on, I see the desktop's background,

When opening the attached file, and scrolling some pages down (I think
it's page 5 where the problem occurs), evince crashes.

Till, HP's proprietary plugin was installed before I ran hp-setup(actually, I'm
pretty sure that the auto-tool launched hp-setup as I got the same wizard),
I'm not sure what was wrong, but something was wrong with the default
installation process (as it just didn't print).
I can try to reproduce
Ok, I launched hp-setup manually, installed the driver,
and now it prints.

I have the same problem here,
tried all three available drivers:
foo2xqx, hpijs, hpijs 3.9.2.49
attaching the output of the printing troubleshooter diagnose.
