Sure, it should be.
We just faced with same problem in our (unrelated) project. For modern
64-bit system that is not very unusual to have files > 2G. And we faced,
that writing such file with single write() call is not successful.
Reason is - as I said - note in 'man 2 write' about maximum size. W
The issue was caused by an intermittent USB KVM switch failure.

1. The boot process stops for dm-crypt password entry, but no keypresses

Funny thing. I have Yubikey 5C Nano and it is hard to get out of port.
So I plugged spare Yubikey 4 to get dmesg lines and it worked with
chromium. Then I replugged my yubikey 5c nano and it worked too. Then I

I use it only for github, no special setup was needed (udev rules are
already there for PIV). I logged last time some months ago so I don't
know when it stopped working exactly.

It fixes the issue for me after update of gnome-shell package with
focal-proposed enabled.
gnome-shell version is 3.36.3-1ubuntu1~20.04.2
Tested using winecfg.

I was previously using u2f from yubikey in chromium snap, but now it doesn't
work.
No apparmor deny in dmesg (except accessing bluez), u2f slot is conneced.
U2f still works in firefox installed as deb.

Clean focal install doesn't have the problem. Installing saltstack from
their official repo breaks ansible. Closing the ticket.

I have tried package versions from eoan (ansible, python3-yaml,
python3-jinja2) and id didn't helped. So it looks like priblem is with
python3.8

I have updated yaru-theme from focal-proposed.
I confirm that together with gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock previously
updated from proposed this fixes the issue for me in focal.
