About a year ago (June 2023) I can flip my upside down webcam using
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libv4lconvert.so.0 .
But now, It's no longer works. When I launch webcam app (e.g cheese or
snapshot), it's always upside down, whether I use LD_PRELOAD or not.

I have sway 1.9 on Ubuntu Noble Numbat (Dev Branch). Somehow swaybar won't show
any tray icon. For example, when I run ksnip, ksnip's tray icon doesn;t show up
on swaybar. I got this when I try using ksnip :

I am having the same problem when trying to connect a second monitor to
the second GPU (Nvidia GTX 1080). Only an X cursor can be displayed and
the rest is a black screen. Nvidia X Server Settings detects 2 screens.

I have just enabled proposed and upgraded to gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock
(63ubuntu1.18.10.2).
The issue seems to be solved, but I believe it will need more time for testing.
I cannot believe such a high-severity bug has been around since early
May, 2018, on both 18.04 LTS and 18.10. Shame

@jpujades you are right maybe, it was equal hibernate for me not
suspend.
I cant remember if it was like that or I changed it while I was trying
other solutions.

I had the same problem and I solved this way, a work around:
am not sure but I think in that case swap memory should be equal to your
ram size or more, I resized to to 8gb which is equal to my ram.
open terminal and do the following:
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
replace the line
GRUB_CMDLINE_L

I tried running the unity8-session on DB as per the steps mentioned in above
doc but process terminated as soon as it launched followed by several respawing

I have updated the BIOS , for almost two days one freezing, so I adjust
the BIOS settings and disable secure boot, the problem is now gone.
