Hi,
I am facing what I suppose to be the same issue on a Dell Optiplex 740, with
the same graphic card and almost the same processor (an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2
Dual Core Processor 4400+), running the nouveau driver.
Xubuntu 14.04 often hangs at boot : it begins with corrupted graphics (very

As it seems I'm the only one with this issue, I assume this comes from the
graphical card I'm using, wich is not well managed by nouveau driver: I have

is a rare issue, you are right that we do not need a information message.
But for "the second problem" (dual pop-up) : I might be wrong but is it
difficult to had a test to see if "xf
Ok, I understand what you mean. If this issue is rare, you are right.
So what do you think :
- mark this bug as "opinion"
- or mark it as "won't fix" (which I can't)
Thanks again
