Using 64bit jaunty I was getting this. I erased my old config files and
it fixed everything. The configs were from hardy versions.

from the menu entry it fails with the error "KdeSudo not found." I
assume that KdeSudo should just not be capitalized since it runs just
fine from the command line with "kdesu

I am using the RC1 packages of KDE4 but I think this problem began at
the last beta, not sure though. When I have compositing enabled, the
plasma dashboard has a while background. The plasmoids and icons appear
but the windows underneath
