I have exactly the same problem, just when the automatic wallpaper
changes, any actives windows loses its focus. Ubuntu 12.04 Lenovo E525 ,
Pocessor AMD A4-3300m , APU ati Radeon.

not sure if its right to say the card its not detected since there is no
trace of b43 driver being loaded at boot time but lspci shows the
broadcom wifi card correctly.
