all the time where the screen just freezes so i decided to activate the
proprietary one. Sadly though it deactivates the theme engine. Heres a

I installed the mainline kernel from the ppa repository and the issue is
much less problematic. There are still really small freezes which i
didnt have with the intel hda before but its quite usable

Hm, so can we expect a fix? BTW: I noticed something interesting right
now: once i activate the pulseaudio-equalizer i dont have lags any more
