I get the same Kernel panic after updating to Ubuntu 11.04 32Bit. Hardware is
an Lenovo T60 Notebook.

Synaptic 0.63.1 crashes when using quicksearch

when first letter is "a" then I can type another letter and then "Crash".
when first letter is "รถ" (German Umlaut) --> immediate crash
~/.xsession-errors file contains no information about this error (as I
can see...).
Is there another way for debugging synaptic?

I re-installed apt-xapian-index with:
$ sudo apt-get purge apt-xapian-index
$ sudo apt-get install apt-xapian-index
But nothing happened: Synaptic crashes after typing third letter in the
quick search box.
Any ideas?
