Expo the way it is. It makes me feel like what's getting zoomed out is
only the wallpaper (and desktop icons); the launcher and the panel stay
on the foreground because they're separate entities from the wallpaper
and the desk

Version 2.28.1 says "File Roller: An archive manager for GNOME." Is
that the version you have there? It doesn't look that much confusing to

Every time I log on to Ubuntu, the position of the right-sided objects
of gnome-panel are ordered in a random fashion (probably by boot order).
