For Firefox it's got somehow fixed, i.e. Firefox knows what program
handles 'peercast:' protocol.
For Epiphany browser it doesn't work right of the box, i.e. it asks for
a program to handle 'peercast:' protocol.
I'm not sure if this answers your question.
