I am on 14.04, this happens to me every time I switch input between
English and Korean (Hangul).
This happens no matter which keyboard layout I use for English input.
I've tried English(US), Korean, and Korean (101/104 Key Compatible) from
the Text Entry Settings and in all scenarios, xmodmap sett
Same here... and while it doesn't seem to otherwise affect my IM
experience, it's still kinda annoying to see 5 warning windows pop up
every time pidgin starts.

With Pidgin 2.5.5, when logging in to MSN it always pops up multiple windows
that say "Friendly name changes too rapidly".

I am having this issue as well, and I cannot narrow this down to
anything. Sometimes it runs fine for hours with dozens of tabs and flash
videos. Other times, it crashes with only one tab open, to a simple
phpbb board. There seems to be no consistant way I can reproduce this

Not that this is a major bug or anything, but this is something that
takes 2 minutes of work, tops. Having the previous version's code name
like that just looks sloppy, and it's little things like this that feeds
the ongoing assumptions that linux lack

I've downloaded this source and tried to compile, but each time I try
"make", it fails with the following error:

It still seems to affect people using .ttc or .ttf fonts on any part of
their GUI element. Bug is still most apparent in firefox.
It did, however, fix the crashing issue as Masoris said. But the system
is still quite broken to those that want to use those fonts.
