I have downloaded and compiled dmenu 5.0 and that solves the issue. I
believe that the upstream bug is https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/61673.
So kindly please update dmenu .

I have tried to install ubuntu on zfs partition. I have enabled
downloading of updates and binary drivers during the installation. I saw
that the installer is setting locales and shortly after that it
disappeared and I got crash notification.
