Thanks a lot, me also experiencing the same issue, and get over it by
making changies in the Host Tab.

agreed , also experience the same issue when trying to install the updates
for the hardy.
have checked the local host file, few of the software are not being able to
install like alamin-server , its asking for the partial updates, but nothing
is been installed.
Hope it will be sorted out.

Yes me too encounter the same issue, get over from it by changing the
local host file and resolve it.

Hope fine, also experience the same issue when upgrading.
1. Try run sudo dpkg --configure -a from the terminal.
2. Check out the Local Host File as it is a known bug /etc/hosts.
We can change the Loc

In that scenrio, one has to change the local host file /etc/hosts setting.
1. One can change the local host by going to the Network.
Sytem ---> Network
2. We can also go for udo dpkg -- configure -a
