I think I have the same problem in feisty. The init script fails on boot. Starting the GUI gives a "eth0 not ready, failed to start firestarter" error. Strangely enough, disabling and enabling eth0 makes firestarter start without problem. sidenote: I use firestarter to share the internet connectio
