So the breaking commit is somewhere between the "Ubuntu-3.19.0-51.58"
tag and the "Ubuntu-3.19.0-53.59" tag. The trouble is that no matter
what commit I build between these 2 tags it builds the same kernel
version - 3.19.0-51.58 - (no matter what I change at the top of
debian.master/changelog

somebody's attention and help with my kernel compilation error (while
kernel bisecting...).

Very bad news:
Latest security patch for kernel 3.19.0 (that is 3.19.0-58) which I
installed today automatically through updates, freezes my laptop again
with the same "HPD interrupt storm detected on connector" error that I
was getting with the 4.2 kernel:

laptop and I have work to do.
What I can tell more than that is that yesterday after lunch I installed

When I restarted my laptop in order to boot on 3.19 kernel so that I can
uninstall the 4.5.0-040500rc7 kernel and install another kernel (like
4.4.5-wily) I got a system freeze: it seemed that it happened right
after the system performed the logout. After starting, here is what I
