Before I did see the last comment I did some more tests. I upgraded vbox
(from 5.1.16 to 5.1.18) together with the guest additions. This removed
the library loading problem. Next I did set the font-dpi=96 so this
warning goes away too (it anyway defaults to 96 ...)

Ubuntu 16.04: Suspend freezes the system after
Meanwhile the keyboard is working too. I can't really tell what made the
change. I suspect that fully switching off the tablet for some hours did

I think the problem is partially solved. Problem source: "Problem exists
between monitor and chair"
Solution: For some reason the generic Linux image was not any more installed. I
guess it was when I was tinkering around with a user build kernel to avoid it

I have a Acer w700 with Bluetooth keyboard and a Logitech Mouse M555b. In 15.04
all was working fine, both paired and working.
Now after the Upgrade:
No Bluetooth icon visible (but I could get it back using system settings,
Bluetooth and set the check box.

Same problem here. My USB wireles LAN adapter worked fine with Xubuntu
13.04.
Now after upgrading to Xubuntu version 13.10, my network does not work
any more after resuming from hibernation. I can see the device in
Network Settings, but the task bar symbol is disappeared and I cannot
get any conne
Adding logfiles (by apport) is quite impossible because the system does
not start further than to the point where I have to enter the crypt-
setup passphrase.

I did a test today with natty. It uses nouveau driver right away, so
there is no additional driver to install any more. As such it works
great, for me the problem is solved.
