and I do have everything updated

I have this issue as well... Whenever I try to change the artists name
rhythmbox gives this "ERROR WHILE SAVING SONG INFORMATION: Unable to
create tag-writing elements" I even ran rhythmbox as root and it still
gave the error

however before I added "acpi_osi=Linux" the fn5&fn6 brightness keys worked and

I'm using a compaq presario cq50-110us with nvidia geforce 8200m
