Could errors like this have any bearing on WiFi performance?
I am only getting around 30Mbits/sec according to "iperf" (wires is fine
at ~950Mbits/sec) and see errors like this constantly when I am trying
to make changes to diagnose my poor WiFi performance.

Public bug reported:
Trying to install Kubuntu 16.04 on a desktop which uses RAID 1.
The install starts OK and then fails about half way through with:
Executing 'grub-install /dev/sda' failed.
This is a fatal error.
This, unfortunately, renders it impossible to install Kubuntu.

Apols for quick second post.
At login, the progress bar is filled within around 4-6 seconds, the
desktop does not appear until around 24 seconds later.
The "empty session" trick from #81 has no effect, it stil take 30-32

I am also seeing a long delay after entering my password. Long enough

OS: Kubuntu 14.04

Applidation: KDE Screen Lock (sorry, don't know the exact package name)
Symptom: After being left alone, Kubutnu will lock the guest user's
session. It is then not possible to resume (blank passwords or obvious
possibles like "password", "guest"
Done a bit more testing and it appears to be solely the presence of the
external monitor that renders the lock screen unlockable.
The simple lock screen works OK with an external monitor, it's only the
widget enabled lock screen that is affrected.

I am seeing the exact same issue with an OfficeJet 6500a Plus e710n-z on

I fixed it by running "system-config-printer" from the CLI, deleting all
