How is the progress with this bug? I've seen many people on
youtube/reddit mention the installer crashing, so it seems like it's not
a rare occurrence.

I ended up removing ubuntu-desktop and installing plasma instead, as I
wanted to be able to tile windows. I enabled wayl
So here's something weird: It stopped when I disabled the tiling
extension. It might be something within specifically flatpak, but it
only happens when that extension is turned on.

So far I've noticed this issue only in flatpak Element. You are probably
right. It goes away when I click on some channel within Element.
