showed that vino-server was restarting very, very often. Killing it cut
my wakeups from the load balancing tick dramatically. I read on the

I have found a temporary solution, at least for me. The problem, I
think, is that blender completely disregards gnome-panel when it
redraws. If all taskbars are hidden, fullscreen blender (blender -W)
works perfectly. However, windowed blender (blender -w) still doesn't

Doesn't blender-static just do the same thing as putting NoAccel in
xorg.conf? Also, does anyone know where to find blender-static in a
Blender installed form a .deb package? If not, could someone post a
copy?

Whoops, spoke too soon. My 3D View and Buttons windows are fixed, but
now menus don't work. Interestingly, they work in fullscreen, but then
there's the offset problem.
