This is happening when I connect to an external bluetooth speaker. The
speaker still works fine though, which is the weird part.

For me the menus stay open on the right screen, but not on the left. The
left screen is my laptop's normal screen, while the right one is a
separate monitor connected via a digital connection through a
DisplayPort.

I also have this problem.
When I log in, most of the time the borders are there and it's fine. The
problem often occurs when dragging a window from fullscreen on one
monitor to fullscren on another. I click up in the upper unity task bar,
where the menu goes when a window is fullscreen. I drag it
