with the same error.
I then rebooted the machine and was able to then successfully run apt-
get -f install to fix the package installation. Subsequently re-

I had the same problem occur this morning on a couple of server installs
running systemd-sysv, so I'm thinking it might not be an upstart-
specific issue. I rebooted one of the servers and was then able to
upgrade the package successfully. I haven't yet rebooted the other
server. Both
I upgraded from Vivid => Wily => Xenial. I had switched back to
upstart-sysv on Vivid but I noticed that the upgrade software reinstalls
the ubuntu-standard package (and therefore systemd-sysv) on upgrade to a
new release, so I had re-installed upstart-sysv after each upgrade.

That looks like the correct drivers. If you run "ifconfig -a" do you
see a wwan0 interface listed? If not, then I'm not sure what else to do
as I am running from one of these devices right now.

SierraWireless. They only add the new device ID to the existing sierra

I can confirm that setting consoleblank=0 stops the screen from becoming
unresponsive. I set the consoleblank parameter in grub and left the
computer for 30 minutes. After coming back to it, the console login
screen was still visible and I could interact with the computer as

I've got the same problem. Running A8-3850 APU on an ASRock A75M-HVS.
Tested with the mainline kernel 3.3-rc7. The HDMI port works fine. The
VGA port fails to work unless I boot with "nomodeset". I'm running this
with Ubuntu Server 11.10, so there is no Xorg installed.

Yes. I just tested this. I had to specify the APN as "telstra.bigpond"
and set the username and password. Everything else was left as default.
It appears to get all the IP/DNS/etc. from DHCP. The Speed under the
General heading is listed as "Unknown", and the Hardware Address is
blank.

2012-01-20 when a monitor is connected via hdmi. I still get a blank
screen on boot up when connected via the VGA interface.

calendarserver package, while previously the python2.6 files existed in
python-twisted-calendarserver. The web2 files from python-twisted-
calendarserver have not been upgraded to python 2.7 since Ubuntu
switched from python 2

I recompiled lingot 0.9.0 on Ubuntu Natty and I couldn't get those segfaults to
appear.
I did manage to get a buffer overflow when setting the sample rate to
1150438151 in the preferences screen. The generated coredump of this was
1.9GB, so I won't be uploading that here. gdb log is attached,
I just compiled lingot 0.9.0 on Ubuntu 10.10 with --enable-jack=no.
When I started for the first time, I received the following warnings in
alert/messageboxes:
