its a shame too, I know cfengine is used by at least a few major
financial institutions: it would be a good thing for Ubuntu to support,
if its serious about the enterprise market.

stable release for cfengine is 2.2.7: can this package be updated?

I would really like to see this, too: working in rural areas is really
difficult without dialup, and I'd like to avoid going outside the distro
for a solution.

Hi,
I was wondering how others are dealing with this, beyond the runtime patch on
bootup. It seems like a tossup between grabbing/patching kernel source and
waiting for the security update, does anyone know a rough eta on a safe gutsy
kernel package? Thanks for the help, this is new territory
