I have the same problem on Intrepid (on Hardy it was ok). Deleting
~/.liferea_1.4 solved the problem for maybe two days, but now it's occurring
again.
I had Liferea from Ubuntu repository. I tried new version from GetDeb, but it's
the same.

version I is recognized in Ubuntu (in any release), but the newer version J
