gdebi-kde crashed with TypeError in /usr/bin/gdebi-
I downloaded the Hardy Heron Live CD, burned and tried it, but it worked only
in "Safe graphics mode". In normal mode X displayed (almost) nothing on my LCD
and some strange flashing textmode on my CRT with vertical lines in all
character shape.

I know that i'm not the reporter of this bug, but as i reported last
December, i had the same problem. I "solved" it with a batch file which
starts automatically and looks so:
sleep 10
DISPLAY=":0.0" /usr/bin/compiz --replace ccp --sm-disable --only-current-screen
&
DISPLAY=":0.1" /usr/bin/compiz
I have the same problem and i disagree declaring it "Low importance". It
makes Compiz unusable. I have NVidia GeForce 7600GS. I plan to buy a
videocard with the same chip into my other computer, because i need a
cheap DUALLINK-DVI card, but this bug makes me to be at a loss. If this
