If nvidia are so much better than ATI then where is the kernel-mode-
setting support in their driver. Its a small thing but on my laptop
using the nvidia driver the bootup (however brief) looks the crap
compared to the open source ATI driver on my desktop machine.

I can't seem to run /lib/udev/nm-modem-probe --verbose --export
/sys/class/tty/ttyACM as suggested at

and again checked the /var/log/messages and with the exception of a
couple of unrelated segfaults (nautilus, update-manager, etc) there is
nothing in the logfiles about php segfaulting.

including date and time, get the contents of the buffer and write it to
a file then flush the buffer to display it to the browser.
When firefox presents the download box it also doesn't write the data
into the file, otherwise

In Australia with a Virgin Mobile Broadband card (e169) the APN in the
connection settings gets set to VirginInternet, this is incorrect, it
works for me when changed to VirginBroadband. Also the username and
password set to the word 'blank'. It would be good to have this updated
in their database

Had the same problem using the e169 from virgin but got it to work by
manually editing the connection settings and changing the APN and
turning off CHAP.
The mobile broadband setup wizard puts in the APN as "VirginInternet"
but the Virgin website says it is "VirginBroadband", once this was
changed
