This bug also affects me (same laptop, ubuntu 19.10).
Headphones works but sound is quality is low compared to Windows.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme 2018 which has the same Realtek ALC285
speaker, seems to work fine on Arch, status is "working" on their wiki :

It happen for me too, when i wake up after a long time suspend. I mean,
if i suspend and wake up the laptop 5 sec after there is no kernel error
and the wake up is fast ( less than 5 sec ).

The only effect i see, is that the wake up take some times ( before it was very
quick) like 10 secondes.

Public bug reported:
The bug appear when i make suspend with some softwares open (banshee, liferea,
evolution, chromium). The bug appear only if i suspend the PC for a long time (
more than 2 hours i think ).
It tell me that there is a kernel bug, but i didn't notice any bug, the PC
still work
I had the same problem with my vaio, i just install Mixeur Alsa Gnome
and it work.
