Also note that i don't actually see the splash screen during boot-up
(just a blank screen), and on shutdown the splash is not scaled to

Please let me know what else you guys need to look into this issue, it
effects me on every Linux distro with the open source NV driver.. maybe
you guys can have an option to include the propitiatory driver from the
installer disc or an option in the installer to download the driver if
agreed upon.

I thought i'd call attention to this as its probably a tough one to
fix.. and happens in every distro i've tried besides sabayon (but that
comes with the official nvidia binary)
