I am also experiencing this issue. I can confirm that by killing all
empathy, telepathy, and mission control processes and restarting with
empathy-auth-client and then empathy, both facebook and Google talk
reconnect.

I can confirm this bug exists, as I am experiencing it at well. Tracker
is not indexing, look for the cause, find that tracker-miner-fs is
aborting with the same error posted here. No remote or removable file
systems.
