in my case it was the otherwise correctly working fritzBox router to be
restarted.
SADLY i just realized so after changing/swapping the wlan module in my notebook.
so the status (reffering to me) should be: fixed

"gksudo system-config-printer" worked for my ip5200 on 10.10 - 64
I just ran into the "enter password for root" after trying to make the
printer available to windows under virtual box - what used to work some
weeks ago. But that might be another problem.
