Ubuntu installer crashes every time when trying to install Ubuntu 14.04.3
64-bit from a 8GB USB drive.
- disks are Basic (not Dynamic)
- tried turning RAID on and off
- tried with a 1TB bootable hard drive
- chose erase and install (not dual boot)

Hi,
I have sound problems since intrepid version (I reported a bug there :

Jaunty and the bug is still there but in a different way.
Instead of having no sound, the sound now plays in slow motion
Yes I have the same problem with non-packaged version (from mozilla's
website) ... that's very disturbing...

Yes, I confirm.
In fact now it's a bit strange, the sound is here, but very very slow. Every
time I have to reload the alsa driver to regain a normal sound.

Hi,
I think I've discovered the problem. I noticed that it appears only when I
install the ATI proprietary drivers ! It configures the HDMI audio but then the
sound don't works correctly !

Hi
I want to notice you that I've found a kind of solution. In fact pulseaudio
seems to be the problem !
If I enter this commands, the sound comes back :
sudo killall pulseaudio
sudo alsa force-reload
Then it's okey during all the time I'm on the same session. But if I
restart the computer I have
