New installation of 14.04LTS. Ralink RT3060 wireless card. Disconnects
about every 15 minutes. Does not automatically reconnect. Tried
disabling N as others have suggested. No effect. I wrote shell script
that runs every minute as a root cron job that checks the state, and
kicks it into operation
I can't install 304 either as it gives me this error:
nvidia-304-updates : Depends: xorg-video-abi-11 or
xorg-video-abi-12 but it is not installable or
xorg-video-abi-13 or
xorg-video-abi-14

after ubuntu install, ran update manager (219 updates). Pretty soon it told me
there was a crash, which I did not write down. Subsequent attempts to run
update manager work, until there is just one update left - it always fails like
this:
